“Where two or three come together in my Name, I am there with them.” (N.I.V.)
As a church we need and want to find out what God wants us to do and how to do it. We also need his help, hence the Prayer Meetings.
A Prayer group will meet at 10.30 a.m. on Sundays in the church (St. Chad’s Chapel) just before the Morning Service.
There is the opportunity to meet for prayer in the church hall on the second Saturday of the month at 9.30am (before the Coffee Morning)
We also have a WhatsApp prayer group.
“You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it.”
For further information please use the Contact page on this web site, or contact one of the churchwardens or Rev’d Monk.
Most people pray at some time in their lives. As Christians we believe God hears our prayers and would like us to have a relationship with Him through prayer. Jesus taught us to pray using the Lord's Prayer. We praise and thank God, say sorry for ignoring His teaching and ask for His guidance and help.
There are several opportunities at St. Helen's to pray with others. These include before church services start either in our seat or together in St Chad's chapel, in home groups or at 9.30 am in the church before coffee morning on the second Saturday of each month. We also have a team linked by WhatsApp and email who support people in prayer during specific times of need. Please use the form on this website for any prayer requests you may have.
